Trick or Treat!

This Halloween was a busy one at the Cintel household! We had two Halloween parties, two Halloween parades and a full night of trick or treating! The kids had a great time and the weather held off and it was warm. Today we have 10 inches of snow on the ground:) Here are some pictures from the day's activities and a fun night of trick or treating!

Ashley had her parade and party first. It was a morning filled with crafts, snacks and fun. Ashley decided that she wanted to wear the dress Grandma and Grandpa had gotten her last year:) She got a ton of complement's.

Ashley and Miss Camille:)

Cameron had his party in the afternoon so Ashley and I got to help out in the classroom:) Here is my little football player!

We had a great time in our neighborhood trick or treating! Ashley was having a hard time at the end of the night carrying all here candy, always a great sign of a good night of trick or treating!!

Here they are with there loot!:)

So I had to include a snow picture from today!

Ducks Weekend with Grandpa!

Jeff's dad George came out for the Oregon vs. Colorado game last weekend! It was so great to have him here and as a bonus the Ducks won big!!

Grandpa showed up with some wonderful gifts from San Francisco but one became an instant hit for Cameron:) George and Marilyn gave him a 49er's football (Cameron is a huge football fan and loves everything about the game). I don't think he put it down all weekend including sleeping with it!:)

Ashley got some amazing gifts from Grandpa and Grandma including a very cute pink cupcake outfit and a great new apron for her favorite pass time!

She was so excited to open up all of her goodies!

Grandpa also brought some Halloween treats including the popular crazy eye glasses!

On Saturday the boy's headed up to Boulder to catch the Ducks game!

They both had an amazing time catching the sites of the campus and rooting on the Ducks!!

They even caught a picture of the Duck!

When they got back home and Ashley had gone to sleep Cameron got to come down and watch some late night college football. Here is a picture of all the boy's rooting on Texas Tech:)

Before George left on Sunday we got to head over to the park for some fun. Cameron got to bring his new football and he practiced all his new running back moves:) Ashley got to show off here soccer skills with Grandpa.

We had such a great weekend and we can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa at Thanksgiving!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2011!

We took a trip out to Parker, a town about 15 miles from our house to a local pumpkin patch! The kids had a great time wondering around trying to find the perfect pumpkin. Cameron was very intent on getting a giant pumpkin, I had to talk him into a medium size one:) Here are some pictures from the day!

Cameron deep in thought about which pumpkin to get:)

Decision made!

I have to include a picture of one of my beautiful tree's from the backyard. Just in the last week all the tree's are changing colors here and they are simply beautiful. When you drive around you see everything from bring red, orange, yellow and even a pink color!

Welcome Fall!! Oh and a little Snow as well!!

We are enjoying the beautiful Colorado Fall weather! It reminds me of Sunriver in Oregon in the fall/winter. In the morning's it is crisp and bright and warm in the afternoon. I know that will change soon and get much colder but I am enjoying this change in season:)

A couple of weeks ago Ashley and I were able to help out with a lesson in Cameron's school garden! It was great to see the kids digging in the dirt and learning about the plants they have grown. They have tomatoes, cucumber, basil and corn!! I will be helping out on the gardening committee though out the year. Needless to say we will be moving indoors for a while until the spring:) Here are some pictures of the kids in the garden.

Ashley even made a new friend in the garden and they had a great time watching the newly released ladybugs!

This was my Basil catch of the day, yummy!!

Cameron had teacher conferences last week so he had Thursday and Friday off. On Friday we were out in the backyard checking out the changing leaves.

We worked on some fall projects inside, as you can tell Cameron had trucks more on the brain than working with leaves!!

On Saturday morning we woke up and were completely surprised to see SNOW!! Needless to say we were all really excited! The kids got all decked out and headed across the street with Jeff to build a snowman or two.
