Halloween 2013!

The kids had a great Halloween this year filled with parties, parades, friends and candies:) I promise I only took my fair share of there Reece's Peanut Butter Cups:) We did some fun pumpkin carving and even tried some new pumpkin styles this year! One the big day the kids each had a school party and a parade. I was lucky enough to get to help out in Ashley's room for her party and see both of the kids for the parade. In the evening we hung our with our great friends the Bartel's. After trick or treating the kids traded candy while they watched Monsters Inc. The adults hung out on the back deck with some wine and a fire pit! Oh and yes some candy:)

We also had to stop by the fossils.

Cameron and Jeff watching some football!!! We are a little obsessed in our house. Cameron knows the schedule for both college and NFL. Tuesday is the only night we don't have it on:)

School Projects!

Cameron's fourth grade class has been very busy this year so far! A long with his normal studies he has worked on two major projects so far. First he spent six weeks studying the solar system (he became obsessed with it)! Then they moved on to another six weeks of studying famous Coloradans and Colorado history! It is fun to see him work on his first (real) projects at school. He had to research the project (google is amazing):), then write his speech and work on a visual to go with it! Jeff and I helped but he really knew what he wanted to do! He even had to present his projects in front of his class. I was excited to go and see his Colorado History presentation and I was very proud of him! I get very nervous talking in front of a crowd and he did great!!!:)

Here are some pics from the projects

Cameron's visual for his International Space Station presentation!

A reward Slurpee for getting an A!!

Working on his speech for his famous Coloradan presentation! He picked John Evans, the second governor of Colorado

He also had to dress up like Mr. Evans with things he had at home. Not the ribbon tie, mommies cardigan (as a suit coat) We even made a beard, see below:)

Waiting his turn:)
