So I am putting up a couple of postings today! It has been a while since I have posted anything, sorry:) Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks! The kids have been settling into school and loving it. Cameron is working on a lot of reading, writing and math (the normal basics) but is also loving his art, music and P.E. classes. He also has computer lab once a week, it is a little scary that when we get on the computer he knows how to navigate just as well as I do!!! Here he is doing his homework.
Cameron with his reading book, notice that it is a Green Bay Packer Book, his favorite team!! I learned a lot that night about the Packers:)
Ashley is loving her preschool class! It is an amazing program and she has two wonderful teachers! She has been working on her letters and numbers as well as crafting up a storm! Last week they had carnival week and on Thursday she made cotton candy, popcorn and had face painting. She decided that she wanted to do some homework as well so here she is at the table doing her homework:)
As you guys know Ashley loves to cook! As well as her famous cupcakes she has been helping me in the kitchen with some other dishes.
Marilyn-she loves that apron!!
She also learned to clean corn this week!!
Lastly, the Tooth Fairy has been to our house twice in the last week! Cameron now has a pretty good gap going with one more yet to go probably in the next week! He has been very excited about all the visits!

Hope you all are doing great! Love to all!

Pack 696
Cameron recently joined troop 696 here in Highlands Ranch!! He has already had to a couple of den meetings and a pack meeting. It is such a great pack and most of the kids go to his school. I have included some photos from the last couple of weeks!
It is so great that Cameron and Jeff get to share this experience! For those who didn't know Jeff was an Eagle scout so needless to say he is a little excited about Cameron becoming a scout! Jeff even was the one to sew the first patches on his shirt!!
Everyone at the Scout shop getting the gear!
Here is some pictures from the latest scout meeting!
We will be sure to share more adventures from Scouting this year!

Girl's Weekend!!
My best friend Liz was in from Arizona this weekend and we had a great time!!! Liz and I have now been friends for half of my life, she really is more like a sister to me!! Liz has never been to Colorado so even though it was just a quick weekend we got to show here some of the sites.
On Saturday we all went up to Vail to show her the Rockies! Vail is quickly becoming one of my favorite places:) We brought a lunch and found our usual spot by the river (and more importantly the pirate ship play structure for the kids:)) and had a little picnic. After lunch and some play time the kids and Jeff got to splash around the the river!
Typical Ashley completely soaked and having a ball!!
The kids got to have there usual ice cream and we walked around the village.
Ashley and Auntie Liz!
After seeing real Moose in Rocky Mountain National Park earlier this year my kids have been crazy about them! Here they are hanging around with one in Vail:)
The weekends always go way to fast but we had some great time to catch up with some dinner's out and shopping trips! I can't wait for the next visit in Arizona! Miss you already:)

Ashley stated Little Cougar's (the preschool program inside Cameron's school) and goes on Tuesday's and Thursday's for a half day! She loves her teachers Mr. Todd and Mrs. Camille. It is so great to see both of them loving school so much:) Here are some pictures from last week.

Nana and Papa!!
My parents were here for a couple weeks and we had such a great time!! They have never been to Colorado so they made great use of the time and took many days trips around the Denver area and up into the Rockies! They also got into a daily routine in Highlands Ranch that always included a trip to the local Starbucks!!
Jeff, my Dad and the kids all went up to Invesco Field (now Sports Authority Field) to watch the Broncos practice! Even though it was really hot, everyone had a good time watching the practice! Cameron even got to watch Tim Tebow throw a touchdown! Cameron loved it and Ashley told me all about the cheerleader outfit she wanted to get:) While they were up at the practice mom and I got some shopping in:)
Apart from Jeff and I getting a couple of date nights, yeah!! We all headed out for a nice night out:)
When my parents were here the kids went back to school!! Ashley was very excited that Nana and Papa got to come to see her new classroom on her first day!
We also got to visit our family friends the Cottons who live north of Denver. Jim and Jette were in England at the same time my parents were in 1993 and became fast friends! It was great to catch up and hang out with the entire family! The kids even got to have some serious fun on the trampoline. What a great night!!
We had such a great time when my parents were here! It was filled with great family time as well as alot of Rummycube, my mom beat us all!!:)
One sad note to the trip was that on the road up my parents dog Fergie passed away. She was a wonderful dog and will be missed. Sebby, Jack and Bailey made sure that Nana and Papa got a lot of extra love to help ease there loss.
Here are some pictures from the day my parents left. We can't wait until the next visit!!!! Love you both:)
Bailey did not want Mom to leave:)
Here is Sebby ready for his car ride home! He loved also hanging out with the kids when he was here!

California Road Trip!!
We had the best time out in San Mateo visiting Jeff's family!! We drove through Colorado, Utah, Nevada and then into California, seeing lots of scenery and places I have we had never seen before!
It has been 7 months since I have seen my little nephew Myles!! He was walking, playing and running with his cousins!! My sister-in-law and brother-in-law have been teaching him sign language since he was very little. I was so impressed with his ability to sign, he knows more than 25 signs!!! He is so smart!! Jeff and I were so excited to spend time with him, we love you Myles!!
The cousins had such a great time playing and spending time together!! They all get along so well and love hanging out.
Here are some pictures of Chris, Jen and Myles! Such a beautiful family!!
On Sunday we took a ride with the entire family on the Cal train up to Burlingame! Needless to say Cameron was excited!! He even made sure that everyone was being safe by staying away from the yellow line and the train platform, I think he will make a great hall monitor at school!!
Cameron also got to spend some time with his favorite other cousin, Xena!! They have always had a special relationship and this trip was no different!!
Ashley even got in on the fun with Xena!!
We all had the best time visiting and we can't wait until next time!!
